# Update a guest

PATCH https://api.x.flatfile.com/v1/guests/{guestId}
Content-Type: application/json

Updates a single guest, for example to change name or email

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — Bearer authentication of the form `Bearer <token>`, where token is your auth token.

- `guestId` (string, required) — ID of guest to return

This endpoint expects a GuestConfigUpdate.

- `email` (string, optional)

- `spaces` (list of GuestSpace, optional)
